Thank you for stopping by our home here on the web! I would like to give you some background about me and my company. I am Sherman Mason, and since I was a kid, I knew I wanted to have my own business building homes. I started out by laying brick on the weekends in high school. Now, 40 years later, I am living my dream of building quality homes for my clients and working with some of the most talented architects, craftsmen, and designers in the Baltimore/Annapolis/Eastern Shore areas.
After many years of working as a project manager for one of the top builders in Maryland, I decided it was time for me to build a business based on my values, dedication, and knowledge, and in 1999, Mason Construction Company was born. Since then, we have created an impressive portfolio of high-end custom homes and renovations and developed lifelong relationships with some of our clients, for which I am very proud.
Throughout the ups and downs of the economy and everyday highs and lows of running a business, I have developed a strong team of dedicated and talented of people, most have been with me since the beginning, who share the same values for honesty, quality work and providing great service to our clients. I am grateful for their dedication and continued hard work. I am also blessed for the trust my clients put in me to build their homes and even more, when they refer me to their friends and family. There is no greater compliment or marketing tactic than client referrals, and for that, I am truly appreciative.

a little about me
I grew up in the Eastport neighborhood of Annapolis and later moved to Mayo.
I have been married to my wife, Michelle, whom I met in high school, for almost 45 years. I have two daughters, Aimee and Amanda, and a son, Sam, who handles the remodeling projects for Mason Construction.
I am a proud Pop-Pop to twin granddaughters, Sophia and Lilly (9 years old), and two grandsons, Brody (almost 2) and (Sam 20 months). They are my biggest fans.
I played football, lacrosse and was captain of the wrestling team at Southern High School in Anne Arundel County in the 70's. I had a few college offers to continue my wrestling career, but my real passion was building houses, so I decided to keep working at my trade and keep my education in the field.
I love listening to and finding good music! I watch the Food Network and will try to convince my wife to recreate some of the dishes that look awesome.
Over the last past 15 years I have developed a passion for skiing! Each winter, we try to take a few ski trips with the grandkids, but my dream is to ski out West.
